Staff at UPV/EHU is willing to co-create with the social innovation center ArantzazuLab a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) to foster transition skills necessary to achieve the SDGs, which could be used all over UPV/EHU and other universities. The goal is to put existing resources and the operating culture of universities at the service of global challenges in the main areas of the EHUagenda2030. We begin the design process with a workshop to (a) secure the participation and support of different groups and interests, (b) discuss the potential and limits of MOOCs in education for sustainability, and (c) exchange knowledge and experiences with Copernicus Alliance, which provided financial support through a CA Micro Fund. The workshop took place on June 21st, 2021, and featured a keynote by Prof. Jorge Riechmann (UAM), co-director of the Master in Ecological Humanities, Sustainability and Ecosocial Transition.
